Board Certified Optometric Physician

Dr. Mark Liebetreu graduated from Ferris State University College of Optometry and furthered his professional experience at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Further, Dr. Liebetreu trained internationally at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Dr. Liebetreu has trained extensively in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts and more generally in the early diagnosis of eye diseases in older adults.

Dr. Liebetreu performs comprehensive medical eye examinations, treats eye infections and writes prescriptions for eyeglasses, which can be filled at our on-site optical shop.

Dr. Liebetreu, his wife Dana, and their two sons live in Fort Myers, where Dr. Liebetreu favorite hobbies, flying, and fishing occupy his free time.
