Fees… and keeping them low!
We participate with Medicare, Blue Cross & Blue Shield and most major insurance companies. We gladly accept assignment. For your convenience, our office will take care of all Medicare and supplemental insurance billing.
The Eye Health Center of Florida is a member of many health maintenance organizations (HMO’s). Please remember, if you are insured through an HMO or HMO Medicare replacement plan, you must have authorization from your primary care physician before visiting our office. We will send an itemized statement once we have heard from your insurance. You are responsible for your insurance deductible and annual co-payments.
We realize that unexpected medical expenses can sometimes be difficult. Please be assured that you can discuss financial arrangements with complete confidentiality.
Financial Aid – Eye Health Center of Florida works closely with local social agencies in providing needed eye care. We participate annually with the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s National Eye Care Project. We continue those efforts all year long providing free cataract surgery for those in need.
